Beautifully proud people from Makambaye village, western region gambia. the women were busy doing their weekly "stokvel" count. and I really loved this woman's dress and tatoo, we couldnt really communicate but she said she was fine with the picture. i just wish i had written down her name and everyone elses, its difficult sometimes in the moment, but i really must train myself to do it in the future as now when I want to send her a copy its going to prove tricky.
